Ame's Happy Happy Dating Game is a visual novel mini-game featured in Petit Game Collection vol.1. The premise of this game revolves around the player dating Ame-chan, taking her out to places, and then after they are done going to each of these places, Ame, in the form of KAngel, would make a stream summarizing what she did (with some exceptions). It features two endings.
Locations
There are six locations that the player can choose from:
- Arcade
- Nakano Broadway
- Hospital
- Urban Exploration
- Beach
- Childhood Home
Endings
There are two endings:
- The bad ending: The bad ending is obtained by visiting the Childhood Home before having visited all of the other locations.
- The good ending: The good ending is obtained by visiting all of the other locations first, then visiting the Childhood Home.
Trivia
- Nakano Broadway and Childhood Home are the only two locations where Ame would not do a stream on.
- For the former, it is because of the fact that she mentions that she is too tired to do a stream.
- For the latter, this is because of the fact that either the good ending or the bad ending could happen. Neither of the endings would feature a stream of Ame summarizing what happened.
- Some of the background assets of the areas she goes to are blurred photos of locations in real life.
- The ones where that is the case are Urban Exploration, all background assets of Nakano Broadway, and the train in Childhood Home is taken in the SL Ginga train. The train is inspired by the classic novel Night on the Galactic Railroad written by Japanese author Kenji Miyazawa. In those background assets, Ame's portraits and expressions are overlayed on them. In other words, Ame's expression(s) and the background in those cases are different assets.
- The ones where that is not the case are the Arcade, the Beach, the Hospital, and the background of both endings. This is because of the fact that the locations themselves are drawn with Ame in them. In other words, Ame's expression(s) and the background in those cases are the same asset(s).
- A portion of these assets can be found and unlocked in CG mode.
- This is the only minigame in Petit Game Collection vol.1 where Ame would appear in her normal form, although she appears as KAngel, when she streams. In all of the other minigames, she only appears as KAngel.
- This is also the only minigame that features P-chan, even though just like in Needy Streamer Overload, they don't have a physical appearance.
- The pien cat appears in KAngel's Room, being the only time it does so in Petit Game Collection vol.1. However, it is not P-chan, and in fact, comes in the form of a head plush(?) on the table.
- The pose that Ame does, particularly just before the player gains access to the clickable list of locations, might be a reference to the pose that Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club does.
- The pose that Ame does, particularly during the good ending when she visits her Childhood Home, is a reference to her waving selfie when she visited her parents in Needy Streamer Overload.
- Excluding the black background frame at the very end, the good ending has two background frames, referring to this particular pose, although in the first of the two, her eye was open, while in the second, her eye was closed.
- In the main menu of the game, multiple superchats are depicted, including the bear, the octopus, and the pien cat. The pien cat, in particular, is depicted as the head of a flower.
