Catastrophe is an ending in NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD, represented by the 5th ending slot in the Main Menu and GAME OVER screens. An achievement of the same name is unlocked upon experiencing the ending.

Requirement

To achieve this ending, the player must reach Day 30 with <500,000 followers, <60 affection and <60 mental darkness.

On Day 30, Ame texts P-chan on JINE about how ridiculed she feels for not having hit her desired follower count of a million followers, believing her streaming career to have amounted to nothing meaningful, stating that she was "just acting as the internet's personal jester." She believes there is nothing beneficial to come from continuing her streaming career, telling P-chan that they are a liar who did not help her. She then goes on her private Tweeter account to vent her frustration at P-chan, before going on her public Tweeter account to publicly state the end of her career, blaming her followers for her lack of success. Ame then blocks P-chan on Tweeter.
