Control Panel

The Control Panel is the settings menu of Needy Streamer Overload. Here, the player can change game settings, which are separated in three parts: audio, language, and screen size (exclusive to PC) or vibration (exclusive to Switch users).

Accessing

The Control Panel menu can be accessed in two ways:

  • Clicking the gear icon on the top left corner of the main menu.
  • Clicking the "START" button that is found in the taskbar of the Desktop, then clicking the "Control Panel" option.

Options

Audio

The following options affect the audio of the game.

Setting Options Default option Details
My Music 0% → 100% 60% This option affects the volume of all of the background music in the game.
Sound 0% → 100% 60% This option affects the volume of all of the sound effects in the game.

Language

The following options affect the currently selected language of the game. The game supports 10 languages and the default is English. Below is the list of supported languages for the game:

  • Japanese
  • English
  • Chinese (simplified)
  • Korean (added in May 2022)[1]
  • Chinese (traditional)
  • Vietnamese
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Russian (added in October 2024)[2]

Screen size (PC-exclusive)

This option affects the screen size and resolution of the game. The default option is the x1 screen size. This option is exclusive to PC users.

Setting Details
Max This option makes the game go in full screen with full resolution. This is not the same as the x2 screen size.
x1 The default screen size option, the game window occupies just around half of the width of the desktop.
x2 The game window would become double the size of the x1 screen size. This does not mean the game becomes full screen. It would have a practically full resolution, but it would still be windowed.

Vibration (Switch-exclusive)

This option affects whether vibration is turned on or off for the controller(s) used to play the game on the Nintendo Switch. By default, vibration is turned on, but it can be turned off. This option is exclusive for the Nintendo Switch.

Trivia

  • Control Panel, the name of the game's settings, is a reference to the Control Panel for computers using Microsoft Windows.
  • The checkbox for the language and screen size settings is basically KAngel's Tweeter avatar instead of a typical checkmark.
