Internet Overdose is an ending in NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD. It is represented by the 17th slot in the GAME OVER and main menu screens. The player will receive an achievement of the same name after going through this ending.
Requirement
To achieve this ending, Ame-chan's Stress meter must be attained to a high level. When the 24th day comes, the player must have a stress level of 80 or above.
The stress cap can be easily broken by streaming every night without taking whole-day breaks to participate in stress-reducing activities. Sexy Streams, ASMR Streams, Breakdown Streams and Conspiracy Streams are recommended, but most higher-tier streams will work too.
Synopsis
At the start of Day 25, Ame texts P-chan on JINE that she has been feeling sluggish and crabby recently and she decides to do her daily vanity search, which is filled with hate. The player would have entered the ending at this point and can no longer engage in free activities. She then rants on her private Tweeter account that she has been getting more hate than usual, and makes a post on her KAngel account that something got her a little shaken up, but she's going to keep going. Immediately, the post floods with annoying replies to which Ame texts P-chan how much it bothers her and how she's been going through it lately, and takes an Embian pill before starting the stream, titled "Sorry for making you worry". KAngel starts off as normal but as soon as she starts getting hate comments, she changes her stance instantly to lashing out to the point where she ends up vomiting and ends the stream immediately.
On Day 26, Ame starts the day by vanity searching both on Tweeter and /st/, now filled with even more hate and everyone making fun of her. From this point on, Ame will vomit on the webcam. Ame goes on her private tweeter questioning if she should just kill herself, but changes her mind since she needs to keep working and decides a normal stream would fix it. She tweets on her KAngel account apologizing for the stream yesterday, filled with replies asking to see her puke while some concerned replies are also there. She transforms while a blue-ish filter appears in the game and starts a stream titled "On Angels". Just like on the previous day, she would start off normally but as soon as she sees mean comments about the incident she starts crying and lashing out once again which would cause her audience to turn on her even more. She states that she will quit streaming before puking again and ending stream without the end stream image showing up. After the stream, she vanity searches again to even more people speaking against her. On /st/, people also actually end up doxxing her, finding out her real name and how she really looks. Ame vomits again on the webcam and a glitch filter takes over the screen before going to the next day.
On Day 27, a ton of windows with eyes pop up which turn into vanity search results just slandering and making fun of her, with some /st/ posts under them. The bottommost window is a window that just says "DIE", and the only option that the player can click is "OK". After clicking on it, a bunch of Dylsem pill windows pop up (implying Ame overdosed on them), then a screen resembling the self harm minigame appears. Unlike the actual minigame however, the player has no control over the event and Ame immediately starts transforming, now with a glitchy and inverted filter, to the point that the sequence is almost unrecognizable. She starts a stream called "DIE" that consists of her laughing manically, then threatening all her viewers and just having an overall mental breakdown. From this point on there is also now a filter that has eyes floating around the screen. The stream ends showing the desktop background all black with a bunch of words popping up just saying "DIE".
On Day 28, a doorbell sound is audible and Ame texts P-chan that they must've found where they live before vomiting again, although the latter tells her that there's no one there implying that Ame could be hallucinating. She breaks down in text pleading for them to stop before all the actions suddenly glow up with the "!" symbol, when clicking on one of them would make a window pop up that just has a symbol and clicking either "cancel" or "OK" would cause the doorbell sound to stop and the screen to glitch out. This must be triggered before the event proceeds. After glitching, Ame would be seen with an unsettling, unhinged-looking sprite (the same one as when her Affection and Mental Darkness stats are high enough), a dripping filter would be added to the screen, and the background music will be replaced by a creepy, loud noise. She starts rambling to P-chan about how she forgot to make dinner before streaming and starts questioning them if they love her. After responding to her she thanks them and goes on her KAngel tweeter spouting nonsense and how she's going to stream tonight and everyone should see her. She transforms with the magic paper filter and the music being very distorted, and streams "Diagram of the Body". There is blood on the wall now, and the stream is mostly of her rambling out jargon about how she had a pet fish and yet it died despite her best efforts. The screen would then cut to a poem displayed on the screen followed by "HELP ME" right after.
On Day 29, Ame texts P-chan about her paranoia and her beliefs that she could change the Internet, both of them barely even capable of holding a proper conversation. The screen finally transits to "Jrypbzr gb gur Vagrearg Natry'f Fgernz!" (Welcome to the Internet Angel's Stream!), implied to be a hallucination where she talks about religion and anime while bloodied and holding what is supposed to be a funeral portrait of her real self. The end text says, "Abj, fur vf gehyl unccl." When translated, it says "Now, she is truly happy."

- This ending is named after the INTERNET OVERDOSE song.
- Most endings have an associated ending event in the format "Ending_Name" (for example, "Ending_Needy" refers to
Needy Girl Overdose.) While INTERNET OVERDOSE has such an event it never plays, instead playing out a sequence of "Scenario" events.
- The ending event seems to mostly be a placeholder, as it only sends a single untranslated JINE message before showing the ending popup.
- This ending is referred to internally as Ending_KowaiInternet, although many parts of the game instead check an "isHorror" flag to determine whether this ending is in progress.
- The achievement icon is basically the epileptic version of the
(Un)happy End World achievement icon.
- The Day 29 stream title and the ending pop-up can be decoded through substitution ciphering, specifically, ROT13, where each letter is replaced with the succeeding 13th letter (for example, A would be replaced by N). For the last 13 letters, the alphabet cycle restarts (for example, N would be replaced by A).
