Go Out
Go Out is one of the categories of actions the player can take to progress and collect ideas for Streams. Ame-chan will always post on Tweeter after going out.
There are a total of 19 different locations that Ame can go to: 16 normal ones and 3 special ones (those have special conditions in appearing). For all of the normal locations, going out takes 2 time slots. Furthermore, if Ame visits any of the normal locations, she will get -10 stress and +6 affection. If she visits the Hospital, she will also get the same stress reduction and affection increase, but in addition to those, she will also get -10 mental darkness.
The desktop icon is represented by a red location icon above a flat grassland, with a shortcut icon on the bottom left corner. It is vertically the 6th icon on the Desktop, located just below the Internet icon. Excluding the Diary and the text logs that appear after having consumed Magic Paper, it is, by default, the bottom-most icon of the Desktop.

This is an event the player can only get if they have 80+ affection by the end of day 23.

Ocean
This is a random event where Ame will say “let’s just drop everything and go out I wanna go see the ocean”. Replying with with “sure” forces you to go out here. This specific event will make you lose 15 stress instead of 10.
“Desperately needed some time off so I went to see the ocean today! Sorry for the spontaneous time away. But I hope you will all be as forgiving as the ocean is wide.” -KAngel

Galactic Rail
This is a special location that only appears after the player has fulfilled the requirements for the Galactic Express: completing all Netlore streams, overdosing on any medication during noon, then clicking "Go Out", where this location will later appear.
This is the only location to have no twits posted after going there. Instead, once the player clicks on this location, Ame-chan will start a stream called "True Happiness". The Galactic Express ending is achievement after this ending.

Trivia
- The NSO-universe version of Disney is Gisney, as mentioned in the dialogue for Gisneyland, which in of itself is clearly based on Disneyland.
- The shape of Gisneyland is based on the shape of the Mickey Mouse head and ears.
- This is one of the two desktop activities that have a shortcut icon, the other being Stream. The shortcut icon does not really have a meaning here, however.
- The street layout of the Go Out map is based on that of Tokyo.
- In fact, many of the locations in the map are based on their real-life counterparts of districts and areas in Tokyo.
- The hospital is the only location, among the locations that are always present, that has a unique stat change. While all locations reduce stress and increase affection, the hospital, in particular, also allows for reduction of mental darkness.
- If the player tries to click anywhere when the "Travel" window is up, clicking anywhere will result in the Go Out action being done immediately and then open up Tweeter.
- Interestingly, the "Travel" window used to be called the "Train" window. However, this was changed at one point.
- The OST that is played, when the Train window appears, seems to use the same leitmotif as the one used in the chiptune segments of Desire for Approval (the OST used for the main menu).
- In the game's assets, the "Galactic Rail" location is internally referred as the "Galaxy Station."
- Most of the locations in Go Out are depicted through individual assets with building(s) that represent them. However, Hikarigaoka Park and Gisneyland, in particular, are part of the base "Go Out" map asset.
