Streaming Generator

The Streaming Generator, or ManualHaishin tab, is an in-game custom stream editor added in the second Windose Major Title Update. It allows the player to create custom streams using various KAngel sprites. It is exclusive to the PC version of the game.

Menu Controls

The player can click on comments in the 'stream chat' area to add lines of dialogue for KAngel's stream. To edit a line of dialogue, the player can click on a comment and write their desired text. As indicated by the prefilled text, the "_" key is used to add line breaks. When editing a comment, the editor will default to overwriting any text previously written within the comment. To avoid this, the player can use the left or right arrow keys, enabling them to select the exact spot they wish to edit in the comment. To add a line of dialogue, the player can press the enter key when selecting a comment. This will only work if the selected comment is not blank; the player is not permitted to create several empty comments in a row.

Clicking on the square icon next to a comment's text will open the sprite menu, enabling the user to choose which sprite and animation KAngel will display when speaking a given line of dialogue. The sprites are divided into seven sections.

"Return" is not a category of sprites, but instead allows the user to back out of the sprite menu without selecting a sprite. Clicking on a titled section will display a list of names for each sprite belonging in that category. The player cannot preview the sprite itself when selecting its name.

There are several on-screen menu controls below KAngel's webcam. Clicking on the stream title allows the player to change its name. Next, the player can control the speed in which KAngel reads out her lines of dialogue, ranging between "Normal," "Faster," and "Moment." The player can also toggle GB Mode on and off, which changes the streaming background into a green screen. Lastly, the player can press Start to progress through the stream, and Replay in order to loop it back to the beginning. Clicking on Reset will start a fresh custom stream, completely wiping all data.

Missing Features

• The player is unable to edit the viewer count of the stream.
• The player is unable to have an in-game BGM play out throughout their stream.
• The player is unable to add comments for KAngel's fans, a prominent feature of the base game.
• The player cannot preview the sprites themselves when selecting which sprite KAngel will display for a given comment. To remedy this, WSS Playground has provided a Google Drive link for an Excel spreadsheet listing out a visual of each sprite next to its in-game name. It is unknown if this issue will be remedied for the Nintendo Switch and PS5 ports.
• Custom streams do not play out on their own. The player must manually progress them through the use of menu buttons.
• The background of KAngel's stream cannot be changed in-game. GB Mode is the only known workaround, requiring the user to manually paste in their desired background.
• There is no functionality for saving or loading custom streams.
• There is no functionality for exporting streams. To share a stream online, external software is required.

Trivia

• When hovering the cursor over the bottom portion of the screen, the player is still able to view all of the ending titles and descriptions from the prior Main Menu screen. This is likely an oversight.
