nyalra (born February 19, 1994, in Naha, Okinawa, Japan) is the writer of NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD.

Biography

In their early childhood, they were an only child in a single-parent household, they grew up in a relaxed environment with just their mother. Later it was discovered that the bones at the back of their noses have been abnormally narrow and almost blocked since they were born without a sense of smell. The amount of oxygen transported is small and they are forced to breathe through their mouth, it automatically leads to a worsening of the oral environment and eyesight (linked to the nose), and insomnia due to shallow breathing. Because of that they were hospitalized many times as a child, unable to keep up with their school lessons and gradually began to attend school only occasionally.

Although they would occasionally show up to school, they mainly would stay at home, enjoying games, manga, and anime.

When they were in the second or third grade of elementary school, they got into the Internet and before they knew it, they were on their way becoming an otaku.

They somehow were able to enter junior high school without studying at all. But even in junior high they still didn't study at all either, and passed the entrance exam for a technical high school that was at the bottom of the barrel in Okinawa, by rolling a pencil.

During their time in high school, their mother remarried to a hairdresser. The man who became their stepfather had no understanding of otaku, That is when they knew they no longer had a place at home. So when they entered university, they moved to Tokyo to escape from their uncomfortable home. However, they had no interest in waking up at a fixed time, so they dropped out of university within six months.

After dropping out of college, their relationship with their parents deteriorated. They were unable to contact each other.They were alone in Tokyo, without friends, and unemployed. They were so lonely that They started a Twitter account.

Depressed - Using their self-consciousness and otaku knowledge that They had cultivated in their depressed life at home for 18 years, Since 2017 They started writing on Twitter and blogs. Because they wanted someone to know that they existed. They repeatedly get into debt, living in poverty, and somehow survive by sharing rooms or houses. Before they know it, they add legal drugs into their life's overdosing on drugs.

Luckily, Their writing was well received, their followers increased, They got hired to work, and a book was published called How to walk around Akihabara. And in 2020 they started working on Needy streamer Overload. While working on Needy streamer Overload they published some books, A Guide to Girls Who Desire Approval: The Crazy Girls I Met on Social Media is a book about the interview that they had with girls who have the desire of approval. They also published "I've Became Nyalra~Sick Internet~" , a story about their life. While also collaborating with other authors' novels.

After a seven month delay of the game it was finally published on January 21 2022 and became a hit selling 2 million copies by 2025. They went on to write an novel of an alternative universe of Needy streamer Overload Spider, Nyalra is Talking to the Wall a book about their everyday diary, writing song lyric for the nso theme songs "INTERNET OVERDOSE" and " INTERNET YAMERO ". They are currently making a new anime that isn't NSO-related and writing song lyric for Vtuber.

They would sometimes post official art that isn't on the official KAngel account, or info/updates about Needy Streamer Overload.
