Achievements

This article is about achievements in NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD, the main game. For achievements in NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD: Typing of The Net, see Achievements (TOTN).

Achievements are in-game accomplishments that are attained after having completed a particular task in Needy Streamer Overload.

The game features 33 achievements, 26 of which are tied to completing different endings in the game for the first time. The other 7 are mostly attained by trying out something in particular in the game, such as overdosing on a particular medication, reaching a certain milestone of followers, or something else. Note that SMT is not counted as an ending.

Endings

The majority of in-game achievements are tied to endings of the same name. The requirements for obtaining an ending are dependent on several factors, including Ame's follower count, stress, affection, and mental darkness. Endings are tracked in the form of square icons, viewable on the Main Menu and GAME OVER screens. Hovering over a square icon in the Main Menu screen will display an ending's title and achievement. Blue squares with white outlines represent endings that have not yet been obtained, whereas solid white squares represent endings the player has already obtained. Endings are the only type of achievements which the player can track within the game.

The endings Happy End World and Comment te dire adieu do not have square icons, but instead display a unique icon on the Main Menu screen if certain conditions are met.

Follower-based endings

These endings are mainly obtained based on the number of followers Ame-chan has, whether it is reaching a certain follower milestone or even remaining under a certain follower count. Moreover, other factors are usually taken in onto account, such as the day to reach a particular milestone, stats, streaming something in particular, or even something else.

#18		Nerdy Girl Overload	"Heartless Angel"	Reach Day 30 with 500k+ followers and <80 affection.
#21		So Close Yet So Far	"I need you desperately, oh here I am waiting for you..."	Reach the end of Day 10 with <10k followers.
#23		DARK ANGEL	"You dig my grave, and I'll dig yours."	Attain a stress capacity of 120. Then, stream Internet Angel 5: "The Internet Angel".
#24		Internet Runaway Angel: Be Invoked	"Cosmos ni Angel to"	Attain 9,999,999 followers.
#25		Happy End World	"Quit the internet."	The player must disconnect their real-life device from the internet. Then, reach Day 30 with 1M+ followers and 80+ affection.

Stream-based endings

These endings require reaching a particular stream. In some endings, particularly in Painful Future and Fallen Angel, reaching a particular stream is all that is required. However, in Welcome To My Religion and Galactic Express, there are additional requirements.

#22		Galactic Express	"Let's head to our eternal utopia of brave love."	Stream Netlore 5: "KAngel". Then, overdose on any drug during Noon. Finally, go out to the Galactic Rail.

Other endings

These are endings that would need the player to fulfill particular requirements in the game that doesn't have to do with keeping Ame-chan over or under a certain follower milestone or reaching a particular stream. For instance, many of these endings would have to do with reaching a particular stat condition (for example, Normie Life requires reaching the Night with 0 mental darkness). Other endings may include fulfilling other tasks that can be done without temporal requirements, such as ignoring Ame's messages on JINE a total of 5 times (Flatline ending).

#13		Ground Control to Psychoelectric Angel	"Even if we're on different wavelengths, I know you'll still understand me, and that's what I love about you."	Reach Night of the current day with maximum affection (either 100 or 120).
#14		Bomber Girl	"P-chan go explode"	Reach Night of the current day with 120 stress.
#16		Flatline	"The bond between us has finally broken. There’s too much unspoken, we’re falling so far apart."	Ignore Ame's JINE messages 5 times in total.
#17		Internet Overdose	"Please take only the recommended internet dosage."	Attain a stress capacity of 120. Then, reach Day 24 with 80+ stress.
#20		Blazing Hell	"Moeagare, Moeagare ANGEL!"	Maintain 60+ mental darkness. While this condition is met, there is a random chance Ame will ask the player to buy charcoal, so the player must reply with "Okay."
N/A		Comment te dire adieu	"This is your perfect adieu... good to the last drop."	Attain every required ending achievement; Happy End World is not required. Then, return to the Main Menu and select Data0.

Others

These achievements are attained through performing various in-game actions or fulfilling certain requirements. They do not lead to ending scenarios, and as such, lack any ending slots on the Main Menu and GAME OVER screens.

	Milestone	"Those who don’t fight won’t survive."	Attain 1,000,000 followers for the first time.
	Overdosed	"It’s poison for you."	Overdose on any given drug. Taking Embian (except in older versions), Magic Paper, or Magic Smoke for the first time would allow the player to instantly get this achievement. Taking Magic Paper or Magic Smoke for the first time would allow the player to get this achievement alongside the Smoked Grass and Took Psychedelics achievements respectively. Here's a quick reference for quantity needed to overdose for medications that have recommended dosages: Depaz: 3 or more Dylsem: 2 or more
	Cut Wrists	"My love is going crazy."	The player needs to reach 80+ stress and attain this stat for at least 2 days in a row. Afterwards, the player will be given a "Self-Destruct" window, where the player has to cut Ame's wrist to attain this achievement.
	Smoked Grass	"It’ll all be better soon."	Take magic smoke for the first time.
	Took Psychedelics	"This messed-up internet is a psychedelic rainbow."	Take magic paper for the first time.
	SMT	"The internet died... and I was given life."	Maintain 100 mental darkness. SMT will then have a random chance of occurring on any given day at Night. Chances are 1 in 100, but increase to 1 in 20 if the player has 16+ endings achieved.

Trivia

• The icons of the Monetization and Milestone achievements are references to the silver and gold YouTube play buttons respectively.
  • On YouTube, a content creator would be able to monetize their channel by reaching multiple requirements, one of them being reaching 1,000 subscribers. Furthermore, they would earn the Silver Play Button once they attain 100,000 subscribers. In the Needy Streamer Overload universe, both of these achievements are attained by earning 10,000 followers on Metube.
